The next Sunday, July 18th, 2026, Cabopino Golf Marbella will once again host one of the Regional Qualifying Events of the IDEAterrazas Tour and the World Amateur Golfers Championship Spain, a qualifying competition offering players the opportunity to reach the World Final in Malaysia.
A Tournament to Compete and Enjoy
The event will be played under the Medal Play +4 format, with a shotgun start at 9:00 am, bringing together golfers of different skill levels in a competitive and enjoyable golfing atmosphere.
A Tournament for All Levels
The competition will feature a category system designed to ensure fair play and balanced competition:
- 1st Category: Handicap 0 – 5.4
- 2nd Category: Handicap 5.5 – 10.4
- 3rd Category: Handicap 10.5 – 15.4
- 4th Category: Handicap 15.5 – 20.4
- 5th Category: Handicap 20.5 – 25.4 (Ladies: exact handicap)
A perfect opportunity to test your game in a competitive format and fight for a place in the next stages of the championship.
More Than Just Golf
The top two players in each category will qualify for the Regional Final, which will take place at Cabopino Golf on August 14th. From there, the best players will continue their journey towards the World Final in Malaysia.
