This summer, Cabopino Golf Marbella presents an exciting tournament calendar designed for golfers who enjoy both competition and a great social atmosphere. Five events, different formats, and one shared goal: experiencing golf at one of the Costa del Sol’s most iconic courses.
WAGC Andalucía 2026 – Road to Malaysia
The summer season begins at Cabopino Golf Marbella with two regional qualifying events of the prestigious World Amateur Golfers Championship Spain and the IDEAterrazas Tour, taking place on July 12th and July 18th, 2026.
Both tournaments will be played under the Medal Play +4 format with a shotgun start at 9:00 am, bringing together players of different skill levels in a qualifying competition on the road to the World Final in Malaysia.
Entry fees are €95 for general players, €85 for Cabopino Plus members, and €85 for juniors up to 17 years old.
The top two players in each category will qualify for the Regional Final, which will be held at Cabopino Golf on August 14th.
XXVI Cabopino Golf Anniversary Tournament
On July 25th, 2026, Cabopino Golf Marbella will celebrate the 26th edition of its Anniversary Tournament, one of the club’s most traditional and anticipated events.
The tournament will feature a shotgun start at 9:00 am. Entry fees are €95 for general players, €85 for Cabopino Plus members, and €85 for juniors up to 17 years old.
Players will compete in:
- 1st Men’s Category (Handicap 0 – 18.4)
- 2nd Men’s Category (Handicap 18.5 and above)
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players in each category, as well as the Scratch Winner and Longest Drive winners for both ladies and gentlemen.
The event will also include snacks and drinks during the round, a cocktail reception during the prize-giving ceremony, and a final prize draw.
IX Callaway Tournament
One week later, on August 1st, 2026, the IX Callaway Tournament will take place, also with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.
Entry fees are €95 for general players and €85 for Cabopino Plus members and juniors.
Players will compete in:
- 1st Category (Handicap 0 – 18.4)
- 2nd Category (Handicap 18.5 and above)
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players in each category, as well as the Scratch Winner and Longest Drive winners for ladies and gentlemen.
As with all summer tournaments at Cabopino Golf Marbella, participants will enjoy snacks and drinks during the round, a cocktail reception at the prize-giving ceremony, and a final prize draw.
III Cabopino Trophy
The third major event of the summer will be the III Cabopino Trophy, scheduled for August 8th, 2026, with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.
Entry fees are:
- General Entry: €115
- Cabopino Plus Members: €105
- Juniors (up to 17 years old): €85
The tournament will feature:
- 1st Men’s Category (Handicap 0 – 18.4)
- 2nd Men’s Category (Handicap 18.5 and above)
- Women’s Single Category
There will be prizes for the top three players in each category, the Scratch Winner, and Longest Drive winners for ladies and gentlemen.
The experience is completed with snacks and drinks during the round, a cocktail reception during the prize-giving ceremony, and a final prize draw.
Le Club Golf by Dos Maderas Circuit – SOMABAY WORLD CUP 2026
On August 15th, 2026, Cabopino Golf Marbella will host one of the qualifying events of the Le Club Golf by Dos Maderas Circuit, a tournament that forms part of the journey towards the international final in Egypt.
The competition will be played under the Individual Stableford format, bringing together golfers in a competitive and enjoyable atmosphere.
Special prizes will be awarded for:
- Nearest to the Pin
- Longest Drive (Ladies & Gentlemen)
- Scratch Winner
- Best Lady
- Best Senior
Category winners will qualify for the SOMABAY WORLD CUP 2026 National Final and receive exclusive circuit prizes.
