Juan Jesús Quirós Morales, III Cabopino Trophy Scratch Winner
One of the main protagonists of the day was Juan Jesús Quirós Morales, who was crowned scratch winner of the III Cabopino Trophy.
Quirós is a golf journalist who has been closely involved with golf communications and the sport in Andalusia for many years. He has an extensive background in golf and has participated in a variety of tournaments and circuits.
Following his victory, he particularly highlighted the condition of the course and the overall experience that Cabopino Golf has to offer:
“The truth is that it has been a really good day, especially because of the company, and also because it had been a long time since I last played this course and I found it in spectacular condition. It is a course you have to come and enjoy, not just because of its design or trying to make birdies, but also because of the friendliness and, above all, the 360-degree experience that Cabopino Golf offers.”
His words perfectly capture one of the key values of the Cabopino Trophy: an event in which golf is at the heart of a much broader experience.
Golf, Gastronomy and Entertainment: A 360° Experience On and Off the Course
The III Cabopino Trophy was about much more than competition. During the round, participants were able to enjoy snacks and drinks halfway through the course, creating moments to relax and socialise as they made their way around the course.
Once the competition was over, the experience continued at LUMA, where the prize-giving ceremony took place alongside a cocktail reception and spectacular views over the Costa del Sol. DJ Dácil provided the soundtrack to the celebrations, creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere for players and guests.
The day concluded with a prize draw among participants, bringing the event to a close with golf, gastronomy, music and entertainment all coming together.
This combination of sport and leisure reflects the 360° experience philosophy of Cabopino Golf, where the day does not simply end after completing 18 holes, but continues around the course and in its dining and social spaces.
Hole in One Challenge: A €15,000 Prize to Be Won Another Day
One of the highlights of the III Cabopino Trophy was the Hole in One Challenge, an exclusive challenge for tournament participants.
The objective was simple: hit a hole in one and win a prize valued at €15,000.
The prize included a Family Golf 365 annual membership at Cabopino, for two adults and all their children under the age of 16, as well as a golf experience for two people in Punta Cana.
The trip included:
- 6 nights on an all-inclusive basis at Barceló Bávaro Beach.
- Flights from Málaga.
- A golf experience for two people.
- Golf at four iconic golf courses in Punta Cana.
However, the perfect shot did not come this time. No participant managed to make a hole in one, meaning the prize went unclaimed and the challenge will once again be one of the highlights of future editions of the Cabopino Trophy.
One shot can make all the difference!
